De nouvelles découvertes R&B continuent d'émerger et de divertir les nombreux adeptes du culte musical New Breed ; personne n'en trouve plus que les connaisseurs du Kent. Les deux enregistrements inédits de Berna Dean sont de loin ses meilleurs. Ils ont été enregistrés par GNP Crescendo dans les studios de Cosimo Matassa à La Nouvelle-Orléans, mais ont été délaissés au profit de deux faces relativement médiocres. Le grand auteur-compositeur R&B des années 50, Jesse Stone, offre une chanson rock au très admiré Jimmy Breedlove et un "This Morning" ultra-entraînant à un groupe vocal mixte inconnu, aux accents gospel joyeux. Jesse a également écrit "Private Eye", une chanson classique du début des années 60, pour Buddy Wilkins, parue sur le label Tri-Ess d'Al Sears.
